The best 24/7 platform in my opinion is PicoCTF. https://picoctf.com/ It has an incredibly user friendly interface (you can disable story mode) allowing you to cover everything from web application testing to buffer overflows, crypto and exploitation. I can say at the very least, aligns to basic work I do in my role as a penetration tester. 💻💻💻

That being said, many Capture-The-Flag (CTF) platforms are a great way to learn, and include an edge of competition, a centralized messaging area to communicate and learn off others, and the motivation of scoring and feedback to measure how much you’ve learned. All about CTF (Capture The Flag) is a fantastic place to see which CTFs are coming up.💻

Another great resource is Hacksplaining: Learn to Hack.
If you are looking to dish out some cash and put some serious study hours in, then Offensive Security’s Offensive Security Certified Professional is a killer cert that really allows you to learn solid penetration testing skills, which i’d say is a better term than ‘ethical hacking.’⌨️⌨️⌨️
